Questions advocates ask

Is my case data safe?+
Yes. Every advocate can see only their own office data — this is enforced by the database itself, not just by the app. Juniors see only the cases assigned to them. Nobody at Court Diary reads your case files.
Do I need to be good with computers?+
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use Court Diary. The screens follow the same layout as the paper diary you already keep.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?+
Your data stays. You move to the Free plan and can still open and export everything. Nothing is deleted.
Can my junior use it too?+
Yes, on the Firm plan. You add them to your office and choose which cases they can see. You pay once for the office — juniors do not need their own subscription.
Does it work without internet?+
You need internet to open the app, the same as any online service. We are working on offline reading for a later version.
Can I use it on my phone and laptop both?+
Yes. The same account works on up to five devices. You can log any device out remotely from Settings.
Will hearing dates update by themselves?+
On Premium, dates are fetched from the court website wherever an interface is available. Where it is not, you enter the date yourself — the same as your paper diary.
How do I get my data out?+
Settings has an export button. You get a spreadsheet of all your cases, any time, at no cost.
